Does anybody believe we should only be with one partner for life. It is only convention this is we should. I suppose some of you wouldn't be on this website if that were true but why do we seek for fulfilment elsewhere? Does it turn you want to see your partner with somebody else or do you want to seek new horizons regardless of your partner?

There are two different things going on there, first I wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else apart from Mr @Admin and second when it comes to this lifestyle it's something else, we are one but then having fun is separate to that, it's just fun, end of, if the fun in this life style ended then it would make no difference to our relationship ;)xx

You're right of course but something compels us to look further than what we already have? Is it purely fun? What if you were still having fun but Mr Admin stopped or vice versa?

I think the clarification point here is the differentiation between commitment and enjoying fun. The monogamous relationship attitude comes from the belief handed down over the last few thousand years that if you are committed to somebody you must also be exclusive to them.

We are a couple who are very happy and in love together but we enjoy the fun in swinging. If Mr Muffet decided it wasnt fun we wouldnt do it anymore and vice versa. Its something we enjoy secondary to our relationship. Its not essential to our relationship. And yes absolutely its fun otherwise we wouldnt do it. Xxx

I think a quick sum up of the situation is easy put into two words. If there is attraction between you or Linda and I you can have all the fun with us you like but Linda and I have the emotions you can't have that. Humans find other humans attractive but we only fall in love with one... or one at a time.

I am of the opinion that humans are broadly relationship monogamous but not necessarily sexually monogamous. I stay this as they are quite a lot of cultures that have practised some form of sexual non-monogamy whether that be ritualised group sexual actives or acceptance of "mistresses" but almost every culture practises some form of marriage between a male gendered partner and a female gendered partner.

For us, We are totally committed emotionally, sexually, body and soul to each other, and for life too, however, sexual fun with others is just that, we have enormous pleasure with others, and learn lots from the experiences we share, but they will never ever replace our committed relationship with each other , and to be honest, We feel, there has to be a totally secure Base, established before the parameters can be stretched to include others, So yes we feel a committed relationship is essential to a great swinging lifestyle xxx

I tbink Tbh, It's like a couples addiction to sex, the need to experience new feelings, and explore new sensations, but with the full security of a loving secure relationship in the background.
One does not work without the other, and can't work if one partner does not agree, it's a fine balancing act, but once achieved is amazing xx

Your agreeing??? Oh this is not good!! What on earths going on??!! :D
Pay back lol xx
