Well this thread has been a long time coming and feel now is the right time. Sorry @Admin think of the blood pressure now.

We've all been there and most have had terrible experiences, us just like some were out casted after only a month. Why. Because @Admin could speak correctly so everyone thought we were press..... Really because he can hold a conversation. We stuck it out for about two or three years but it just got worse.
As a result of this we were bullied to the point of leaving and decided to start this journey.


We didn't want a site for bullies, fakes, pic collectors, or even worse child abusers and rapists and yes they are there.

We wanted a genuine safe site for all to enjoy and not somewhere where you have to worry if I am safe all the time.

After leaving of course it came to light how dangerous this site really is and that's because of members coming to us with issues.
Nothing on Fab is private.... Profiles I can see now in google with images and names. Verifications and information and that's just profiles. We are not members remember so this is what you can search yourself.
There is also a serious loophole which I am sure @Admin may show or explain.

All forums are public which include no member privacy what so ever.

We do not have an account there but all our information is still logged with them.

That site maybe fun for some but disaster for most so what are your views on the not so fabulous site? Oh and one thing they claim to be a free site yet they turned over half a million last year and yes it's a single guy who owns it and not a couple which they claim.....

One thing they have a lot of is members, but just how many are really genuine, active or real?
As we both agreed as a spin off from this mornings earlier discussions, it's about time this was discussed..

Had some good times and some bad. What was the last straw, was having a stalker, whom I reported to the site, all they did was block me from his profile and let him continue on the site, to stalk two other ladies.

I am staying quiet to give everyone chance to air their views, but this is one thing that perplexes me.
A fun free site etc etc.. We don't charge for anything..
And I quote;

They charge and even charge just for you to view who looked at your profile. You get the alert "Member x viewed your profile" and if you don't pay, you don't see it.. so you have to pay.
Are they free? LOL
I see people moaning - you can't add more features as it's a free site and things would cost...

Tell the MD/Owner that., a single guy who turned over 3/4 of a million (or however much) last year and almost £1m the year before that.

OK.... so our 27.9p worth on the 'other' site....

We have some very good friends on there, but also know there are a few thousand fakes too! also have met some lovely people, ok mainly from the club we go to, but if it wasn't for that site, we would never be able to keep in touch with them all.

If everyone we knew was to come over onto this site, then I'm sure it would be soo much better, but unfortunately we are not allowed to advertise any 'other' places, so there's really no way of telling them about it here

Any ideas on how we can get them all to cross over to the better pages?

Absolutely hate fab with a passion and couldn't be dragged back there by a team of wild horses.

We tried our best when we joined, even attempting to arrange a social, etc.

We got accused of lying by a moderator which they were mistaken in, when this was pointed out and proven we were 'gagged' from posting. I didn't take kindly to that so escalated it to the site admin (as @Pearls has stated is/was at the time a single man and not a couple as claimed) we were quickly banned as a result.

Despite repeated requests for a proportianal refund for the site fees we had paid in advance we were just given the run-around. Yes I was just being awkward at that point as I didn't really care about the money but the principle, but it proved a point.

The site is built on lies and dishonesty and is purely a money making excercise and a farce in my opinion, it's easy to see this from their accounts via companies house.

If anyone is interested in having a 'go-back' at them, send a SAR (Subject Access Request) to them and watch them squirm and try to avoid responding, at which point you can make a complaint to the Information Commisioner's Office.

I only ever had one reply from that shit hole. It was from a single woman. Who replied "I wish you guys would stop sending me messages. I am not interested" Her profile stated that she was not interested in women or couples as she was completely straight.
I'm not a thick bloke but I still can't work out what the fuck she was on there for.
My experience from that infested site is that it is a disgrace. The sooner genuine folks realise that the better.

Disgraceful behaviour but when you do a search on this company you will find them trading under a different name. Yes I have the owner and details and he is a very clever and clean man. Young too xx

Started on fab as a copule as it was in the beginning old school so alot were friendly then when I went single female more mostly men came and it changed dramatically into a free for all meat market I stuck it out for years then got told about this site in private text may I add not broadcast on there , yes I made some truely great friends on fab but would never go back if I left here for any reason I cant see me joining anywhere else tbh

Might I point out also on fab most of the mods are female's to bring more guys into chat rooms hence the meat market syndrome, there is no fair balance of people on there ie single gents far outway couples and single females

Meat Market is right , and I've used that exact same term when talking about the site myself .
It's very "clicky" if you venture into the chat rooms and yes much of the same opening lines when someone does contact you .
We have got an account there and although we hardly go on ( last night was the first time we were both on there actually looking at profiles in over a fortnight ) we are going to keep it , and that's purely numbers . Yes there's a shit load of fakes on there (same as a few other big name sites we can all mention ) but the fact that a lot of us on SS have had accounts on there must mean decent genuine people stumble onto there every now and again.... It's just finding the buggers
In an ideal world this would be the only site we would be on and hopefully as the numbers grow on here it will be one day , but as unicorn hunters (really reaaaaaallly crap unicorn hunters btw) it's a necessary evil , leaves a horrible taste in the mouth but needs must .
