Every penny from children in need is used for charity. XChildren in need or sports aid ! all the big rip off, most of the money raised goes to big fat cats and other admin.
I can't find any evidence for this. In fact, Children In Need has much lower running costs than most charities simply because of all the free publicity that is available to them i.e. a whole night on BBC1!That's what we are all lead to believe.... but in fact only about 23p in ever pound goes to the charity.
So, for Children In Need, they pay their CEO £2.21 for every £1000 they make. Doesn't seem too bad to me tbh and I wouldn't describe getting a salary for doing a job as robbery. But, like you say, that's an opinion - and it's not what the thread is about, so I'll shut up nowhttps://www.theguardian.com/society/salarysurvey/table/0,12406,1042677,00.html
This lists the amount the charities give their chief executive last year..... robbing the actual people that need it most.
