Totally agree with @Mr_and_Mrs_Marmite ! Most of the meet-up messages we've had since we started swinging have just been someone playing around.

The worst we've heard of was "my wife isn't well so I've come on my own" which happened to friends. Our last was this August, when we arranged through ****** to meet a new couple over a weekend at a naturist site several hours drive away. They weren't there, and after we'd got home they sent a message saying they couldn't make the last weekend but were going the weekend after. Blocked!

Never had a failed meet but once was meeting a lass who rang us 10 mins before we was due to meet in a pub for drinks and see how things went. She said sorry I can't make it but my mate wants to come meet you instead. Thinking some sort of monster girl is gonna show up we thought drink up and leave but with seconds a lass walked in who was megga fit and all I can say is a fantastic night was had by all. Never did get to meet the original lass.

I'm really surprised about some of the excuses I'm seeing. I've always turned up as expected and been polite and respectful during meets.
I've never had a no show but I've had one or two bad experiences. Overall it's been positive.

We have had a few no shows over the years. One female who we had met for a social before, texted 10 mins before a met to say he partner (who we didn't know she had) had been beaten up and she was on her way to the hospital. Had plenty of fake profiles on other sites who just want to exchange messages but always have an excuse not to meet.
As for bad meets, we had one really bad one, when the male of a couple decided he didn't like his wife playing with Mrs Brum prior to us men getting involved. He decided to kick off and start shouting etc. I had to throw him out the house as it really frightened Mrs Brum. Did put us off swinging for over 6 months.

I'm sure it did, sounds horrendous. Especially when you put your trust into people and welcome them into your home.

As we've never arrange to meet anyone there has been no excuses one way or the other. But the nearest to this thread is the time I arrange to meet a possible girlfriend through a dating site and having sat in the car waiting for a while got a text message saying where are you? For some reason I smelled a rat so instead of saying I was in the car I said I was standing by the doorway and then got a text back saying oh I'm sorry but there's no way I'm meating an ugly ass hole like that, you look awful. The sad fact was obviously it was some kid or whatever playing silly Buggars. So I replied back so where are you standing and they said in the window of the building opposite. I didn't bother to reply as I wasn't going to give them any more fun. All there is opposite the pub was a car park and a Green field.....

10 mins before the guy is due to meet us, with Mrs A Team fully in the zone, we get a text saying, his mum's car had broke down and could he move the meet on to find more transport (True )

Touch wood, I've never had a no show, I've had a couple of guys let me down a few hours before the meet, both were along the lines of having rearranged with a slimmer woman, but not so much nicer words.
