before I start, if you're easily bored then read another thread!
I'm asking all of you who have the patience to read this just to stop and think for a moment....
I've just had possibly the worst week I think I can actually remember. Why??? Because people don't stop to think.
To think about their actions, or words and how they impact on others.
I have finally found a job I love doing, with an absolute passion. However, I've been working from hone a bit recently due to an injury. Colleagues that I once considered friends have made my work life difficult through nothing more than jealousy. They feel I'm being given privelidges because I'm working from home. The reality, I'm working twice as hard because I know I'm being watched!
Then, on another site, a site I don't have much time for to be honest but my partner does, I receive a few very nasty comments. Calling me all manner of things from fat, ugly to whore etc
Ordinarily yes, they would upset me but not to the extent that they have this week. I've had so much going on both at work then in my 'private' time that tbh I don't know if I'm coming going or been!
I've spent most of the week bawling my eyes out. Strange considering I was a doorman, you know, tough, unfallable, nothing gets through the tough exterior!
People need to remember before passing comment, maybe someone isn't for you, but they might just be what the next person is dreaming of. Before you pass judgement, make that verbal comment or post that view.... Think..... Constructive criticism is great but the alternative is destructive. Now that's destructive to both emotional and actual being.
Please.... Think before you post, before you open your mouth. I never want to feel how I've felt this week, and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. We are all human, we all have feelings, and we can all hurt.
Much love xx
