Hi all,
Do you think there's a correlation between swinging and mental health?
Does swinging have an adverse effect on those who already suffer from mental health issues?
Or, does and can swinging accentuate any underlying mental health issues?
Do you think that people who suffer from mental health should avoid swinging altogether?
or if you feel perhaps, that this is a discriminatory point of view, rephrasing it, do you think that if someone already suffers from any mental health conditions, that swinging could possibly worsen what issues they have?
Does it have the opposite and have a healthy benefit mentally, where you can get better positivity, confidence, a feel good factor..
Finally do you find that as your social network of swingers widens, that more and more of your friends/acquaintances open up about mental health issues and a direct correlation with swinging itself?
Let's face it, swinging can be a lot of fun, can be a great way to relax and be among like-minded folk.. you can be yourselves, it's also very sociable and friendly..
But and on the other flip of that coin, it can be demoralising, cold/clinical, hurtful and quite a bumpy experience - especially when/if rebuffed and under these circumstances, is that when swinging and depression (for one example) don't mix very well?
Maybe there's no link at all.... but maybe there is - if so then let's discuss it.
