I've been in this scene a while now but I still have ups and downs , this lifestyle is what you make of it and I've found over the recent years I question myself more and more is it wrong then I meet someone who makes it all worthwhile

We don't get ups and downs so to speak just get annoyed with time I guess and not having enough of it ;)

I know exactly, where you are coming from.
I mean its not 'normal' is it? To share the partner you love with someone else. Or is it?
I often think, this isnt right, and if our 8yr old son, ever found out he would be so confused, what the hell are mummy n daddy doing? Let alone my older kids.
Then i think, this is fun, we are adults nobody knows, and we are consenting adults..who are we really hurting..? I guess in a way we are lucky to have found something, we can share with so many like minded people..
Can you imagine living a 'normal' 9-5 life.. ? And the most excitement you have is.. strolling to your local kareoke monthly. Not that theres anything wrong with kareoke!
I shall certainly have some wonderful memories and a wry smile.. when im sitting in my rocker old and grey.
If they only knew ai.. ;) x

I have always believed that, when it comes to things that are deeply personal to you - relationships, politics, religion etc. - then it is not only natural but important to have doubts. How can you know you're on the right path, if you don't ask yourself questions? Swinging, by its very nature, falls into this category. We have often worried if it is the "right" thing to do. Of course, a lot of that doubt/worry comes from the morals that we are all brought up on and, as we are going against those fixed codes, it would be bloody weird if we didn't question ourselves from time to time.

Now... who fancies a foursome in a hot tub? :sneaky:

We had those sort of feelings a few times early on, after lovely nights in La Chambre we'd wonder if it was a healthy thing to do to our new relationship but we'd talk it through the next day. We'd agree that the sex with others was great but it didn't affect our love and there was no good reason to stop. Both of his were a bit unconventional when it came to 'normal' sexual morality anyway and swinging had a positive effect by pushing our boundaries even further.

Don't worry, by the standards of society, religion etc swinging is not a normal activity but it isn't wrong unless you are being forced to do it against your will, and it certainly isn't sinful, wicked or evil. Good sex is perfectly natural, very enjoyable and one of the great things about life and it's too good just to keep to you and one other person. Many people who say otherwise are probably very jealous.

I always think that if you enjoy some thing and its not hurting any one why not ! There are cases were a person needs dont match up with there life, so we make up the difference and we are Happy !
