You don't need me to tell you that calling someone 'a darkie' is a statement of the user's racism.
But, bottom line, I agree with you - it should be 'human' - not differing shades of colour and colour prejudice.

Re: MOBOs - yes, in an ideal world there would be no need for a separate ceremony for music of black origin as 'mainstream' awards wouldn't discriminate in favour of what white men decide is good as colour prejudice wouldn't exist.
As an example of how this works, the once vibrant gay bar/club scene in London is declining with a string of famous venues closing over the last decade. This isn't because gay people are going back in the closet so much as being accepted by the rest of us so there's no need to be separate in the same way but to integrate by understanding what we have in common rather than what makes us different.

Mowo awards would be racist.
We build our own walls and fenses..
I am not white.. I am olive.. Mixed race over the generations..
Name one person who is 100% untarnished by other fractions..
We are one race divided by bigotry designed to control through segregation.
The proof that this control is working is here in this thread... We should not even be having this conversation..

Whilst the initial post that brought this up, isn't directly posted above - to maintain context I kept it on One Sided Attraction..
But what I have done is broken the dialogue off that thread and into a separate discussion as I believe it's the right thing to do.
What I will say is, if people want to discuss such things on this thread, by all means please do but I urge all to exercise caution.
