Must I say @The_Bibas a very interesting discussion....we are all here for different reason some for the social aspect and some for the sex side of swinging and the pleasure and fantasies you wish to achieve.firstly you have to interact on forums threads even on profiles for me its if you get on with said members and generally get on with them.we are all entitled to be here for whatever reason but I would say from general observation seeing watching clearly some are here for there own sexual gratification and questioning what other members have to say x

In my life experience negative attracts negative

I choose to follow those that interest me , those I find funny , those who posts intrigue and those who I share common ground - if anything comes after that added bonus

I tend to follow people if we've interacted a bit on the site and they seem nice. I don't base it on attractiveness, but on lack of twatish-ness
I've started seeing it a bit in terms of 'do they just want to see my media?' (Which by the way, random people out there, is not as exciting as you may be hoping for; it's not that risque ) and if I think the answers probably yes I don't bother following back...there are also people that have followed me, and I am just waiting to get to know them a bit better before following them back.

hoping to jump their bones, honestly. Looks are un-important as is gender..
Its usually people who pique my interests, in the forums, who i genuinely, feel a conection with, the reasons are vast..

We basically get on..
If I feel there is no connection at all.. then i guess much as the same in life, no point in you being on my "freinds" list.. X

I/We follow as a return gesture but mostly I do it for the reason it exists, I want to keep up with what a member says or posts.... only followed one after feeling I didn't want to listen to the things they said (no longer here). If attracted? We try to get to know them.
