"Jeffrey says millions of toys all under one roof."

"Holidays are coming, holidays are coming".

Twinkly lights.

Tacky tinsel and streamers.

Cheesy xmas films with the kids.

Xmas pud and brandy sauce.

The Queens Speech Wallace and Grommit.

The "You're off back to school and I booked an extra days holiday" song I like to sing to the kids when it's all over.

My favourite thing about Christmas is having a kitchen full baked goodness.

P.s. my phone wanted to change baked to naked, it's almost as naughty as me now.

Obviously it's drawing nearer and one of our younger one's finished school at 13:00 today and the other at usual time.
It's rammed out there today, we had to go and finish off some food shopping today and just get the final few things.. bottle of gin, vodka, wine - that sort of thing, nothing OTT. ;)
For us, it's pretty much starting this evening. Kids are off and the wine is chilling/warming.
Have a great time all of you!

We also wanted to spare a moment and mention to those on here who we know, don't have family or are working over Christmas away from home.. and for those who are pretty much on their own.
We found out in the beginning of the New Year this year, that out a good friend of ours spent Christmas alone as they had little other choice. Firstly in a car then just out walking.. had we have known - then this person could have come here and spent it with us as part of our family. It was upsetting to know that we only found out after and couldn't do anything as it was done by that point.

So I think the point is, we can always take things for granted too easily. It's easy to party and enjoy and not think about those on AND off here who have nothing or no one.
For those people who are on here who have no family and won't be doing much really, we do think about you and you do cross our minds. There's little we personally can do to help, but you are thought about by us both...
Just wanted to say that really... x
