The response has been amazing to this, thank you all for your PMs, 4 other members have now offered to host in their area at dates to be arranged. Cxxx

I love this idea. I think the bigeest problem isn't the catering it for most would be accommodation but if people were willing to maybe get a travel lodge/premier inn it would work fine. That said we would still be unable as we would struggle to ditch the kids. Aside from that we would definitely get invovled again what a brilliant idea xx L xx

As the title states, this is a game to network members from all areas.
We are planning an evening where we can accommodate 6 members, this can be a mixture of SFs & SGs or couples, all participants must be PVd and support members.
The evening will consist of a 3 course meal, I would like to point out that this is homemade cooking not nouvelle cuisine, the members who wish to attend are responsible for bringing their preferred wine/beer or spirt.
The point of this evening is:
it's become very apparent that some members due to restrictions with children and the cost of going to planned events including the cost of hotels/travel soon mounts up and deters genuine members from meeting others.
We are looking for members who are happy to attend our meal, then hold a similar event in their own home, as geographically members are scattered all over the country.
This is a trial event, but hopefully there are members out there who would appreciate the chance to meet other members in a informal environment, and continue this idea.
Other members thoughts on this are welcome, or if you are interested in taking part let us know.
Cxxx
I would like to attend please i believe that I will be a very good guest.

Hey guys, awesome idea! Interested, but worried I have a small place so accomodating would be seriously limited (ie, sofa surfing... bring your own sleeping bag) lol xxx

Great Idea - and maybe in the future we would be interested in being a host at our home - but could do some pub / restraint's meetups if that is something couple's and selected singles would find of interest, we are in to poly based encounters.

It may work within the reliable Social Swinging "community", normally it does not
due to no shows as with most parties .

Is there an appetite for simple parties ?

Perhaps having something on your profile will help, this is for photo verified and site supporters only. Many thanks.

Hi all,
Have to say congratulations & thanks to @T&C for putting forward such an amazing idea for everyone to try.
We wanted to let you know, that last night we added ours based on this and by this evening we have ours already full. There will be eight of us wining and dining at ours in June.
Cum Dine With Me (us) 2nd June Swansea
If you're in a position where you can host - definitely give it a whirl as you will get to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy an evening of food and drinks.
It's as easy as making a thread and going from there.
Kudos to @T&C for a great idea. let's hope more get involved and more are able to also offer hosting. xx

It is, as many have remarked, a great idea (y)
But, as has been seen actually hosting a dinner party is beyond the capabilities of quite a few of us.
Maybe because of lack of space or lack of cooking skills
In my situation, both those reasons apply :D
However, I don't believe that necessarily means I have nothing to offer.
I'm more than happy to throw the doors of my humble home to anyone who would be happy to have a few drinks, a few nibbles and perhaps even a dance or two :D I would say I could host a soiree of perhaps 6-8 people.
Accommodation is available to anyone who'd like to stay overnight providing they're realistic in their expectations (there won't be any four-poster beds on offer:))
So what do you think? Is that a reasonable offer or should I just butt out?
