Never liked this whole text speak.. I don't tend to even use LOL, I just find it a little cringy.
As most of you know I am not the best when it comes to grammar but I am lucky enough to have many people here to correct me when needed especially my personal dictionary @Kwaka_Rider (y);):Dxx

Ohhh when I was first made to have a mobile phone - one of the very old Nokias that just about made calls and sent texts - for safety reasons I was very much against it. By the end of the year, I'd gotten some of the kids on the estate to show me how to use it and picked up some great shortcuts 4 kwik txting.

My friends used to complain that "You text like a Jamaican."

No, just being efficient in the medium and you understood my message perfectly even if it took half the time to write :)

If it's all she needs to stay in touch let her be :D
That's right, you had to press the numbers on the keypad multiple times for the desired letter, so "The" became a pain in the arse but "da" was easy and just as clear

Yep we have tried giving her one of our Iphones, nope she won't have any of it. She likes pressing her buttons ten times when missing and having to start again, she also thinks she gets charged by the letter so you could send her a lovely long message and the reply will be "ok"
Very mad woman :D

There are about 2 short cut words i cannot bare and they grate on me something terrible. Why do people use gonna, wanna, why can you not type going to and want to. Aside from that i am tolerant but to a point as i think using correct words shows more intelligence although i wont have a hissy fit over the odd short cut as i do it on odd occasions myself. Plus i cannot spell for toffee  If a certain softly spoken Scottish accent was whispered in my ear or a well spoken English one i would go to jelly :):D

Vxxx
Aaawww but I wanna use slang and you're not gonna stop me.

:p

Now decide which you'd prefer....

"I want to hold you, kiss your neck, your lips and to make you feel sexy. You're going to be wet from my fingers caressing and stroking your clit."

Or

"I wnt 2 hld u n kiz ur nek n ur lipz an 2 make u fill sxy. Your guna b wet fm my fingerz tuchin an strokin ur clit"

50 Shades of Grey wouldn't have had the same impact of it was written like the latter.

Definitely the first, though having looked at 50 shades of grey it is not much better than the second!

I love correct grammar and punctuation, when a man uses that and can say things to me in a message that will have me begging him to come fuck me, even before touching me, then I am seriously impressed.

I have known some true dyslexics and they strive to improve themselves and use software like Dragon Speech (i think thats the right name) to help them, then there are the lazy people who believe that education ends when you leave school.

The one thing that baffles me is when people write does as dose, what do they think when they read the instructions on liquid medicine and do not realise it is a completely different word.

Oh and saying defiantly instead of definitely :)

Living with a family of dyslexics they often see the letters the wrong way round but their brain seems to adjust it to provide the correct meaning so half the time they don't even realise it's the wrong word x

If both words are side by side do they not see the difference?

I have some friends who are dyslexic that they have to use different coloured paper and screens to stop the words moving, its why they use voice software to type.

No not always. My husband regularly copies words down incorrectly and will not realise that they are different.
My kids both used coloured filters at school and my daughter was provided with the voice software when she did her law degree. Unfortunately it didn't understand her accent  What it actually typed was more random than her own dyslexic script ... .

Thats really interesting.. Real dyslexics interests me especially with just how many different variations there are.

Which software was it? My old boss had the one i said which can be used on your phone and computer and it was really good with accents.
