Basically, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Been on the site for a while but no verifications. Stunning pics, but only a couple of them. Wants to do everything for you at the drop of a hat - but only if you send pics first...

All that crap.

That is one issue but people are becoming clever and more and more are slipping through the net until we catch them and show them the back door
Also accounts that have all the gubbins on their account but sit and watch, do nothing. They are usually just here to perv

A friend of mine uncovered a web of nearly a thousand fake profiles on another well-known swinging site - profiles with names like "regrg" and "erhrheth" - all set up to swing votes, like pics and so on.

She compiled it all on a spreadsheet, handed it to admin, who said nothing, didn't delete the profiles but instead closed the programming glitch that allowed her to view the network in the first place.

Good thing you're really not like that here.

As staff here we are pretty spot on with fake profiles which is usually couples sadly

But after reading many profiles about fakes it got me intrigued to know..
How do you guys spot a fake profile or know the person you are talking to is not what the profile says it is?

Experience I am afraid to say . Fakes usually stand out ..
Stephen as you know spent time as a hunter so got pretty good at spotting them .
Most have a similar MO too. .
As for couples... It's usually a man I think as most women I know would not say things like I want to finger you etc .. That said I do know some that do but they are rare

The amount of couples from twitter that are extremely popular with thousands of followers, they interact with everyone and then join here and look at how to become photo verified... I would love to list them on twitter and wake the men up that are all over them like a bad suit x

Fakes are so easy to spot we find - Have only once found 1 here and that was early on and we passed our thoughts to admin as an heads up so to speak. I dont know if its the sort of work i do or just something i have an ability to do. I guess its a case of not so much what folks say but more how they say it that gives the game away. I am guilty of stringing a fake along sometimes just for the hell of it and then tell them i have been making everything up for the last few days as i had spotted the deception way back. It normally brings a string of abuse with it but it makes me laugh

Someone who has been with us but not photo verified for three years has turned out to be fake, even had a meet verification. Both accounts are now banned. So PV is the way forward folks

Theirs many things in the background of photo's , electric plugs, cropped photos, we spend many spare hour entertaining dreamers, one of the funnest was a guy using google earth saying he was staying at so and so apartments , strange we said thats a doctors surgery and has been for the last two years...and poof gone..lol.. But the thing with fakes is not to get drawn in..if you arrange a meet make it somewhere if they turn into a no show you still have a night out, some of our best meet have been in hotel lobbies...Premier inn look out..cc

Completely agreed and it is sadly, too easy to get drawn in - especially if they sweep you off your feet etc.
