As you may have notices since october of last year my time on ss as been limited....taking time away is always a vood thing but will say thankyou to some of you lovely members for making my day and showing you care :love: i have been making memories with my dad who is very ill.Through my strength how i have cope words fail me but i was determined we would spend a little more time together and enjoy what time we have together.He is courageous in is battle but it as come now were he cant be the superman or super hero he was to me but i will be back this next month going to be tough for us both.I will be back soon xx

Well, with @Pearls losing her father last year and me myself losing my mother very recently - we know all too well how short life is and quickly things change.
You take all the time you need and make as many happy memories as you can. Life is simply too short.
You know you have all of our support in all this and whatever you need, we're here for you.
Wishing you all the care and compassion we can during this awful time for you. xx

Make as many memories as you can @Louise1970 and remember the person through all the years you have had together. I didn't get enough of my dad, he went so quickly and even though he was ill, we still kept thinking he would still be here. There isn't an hour of the day when I don't think of him and I miss him so much, I wish I could turn the clock back and do so many things that I missed.
Don't miss this time and cherish every second.

I have made these seven months count even though its been heart breaking to watch his deteriation through laughter n tears our last memories be bitter sweet one x

Without giving away too much personal detail I can say sadly I know how it is. Last year was hard and as you say you need to focus on what really matters. We'll all be here for you later @Louise1970 .
