I have often wondered how people tend to say hello for the first time? How do you all approch this? do you find it easy or nerve racking, would be interesting to see what you crazy lot think

It's definitely an awkward one to get going for some people, and too easy for others.
Confidence is good, overconfidence is not.

Will be interesting to see people's thoughts..

Yep it can be very nerve racking, i used to be really shy, then one day i just thought 'sod it, whats the worse that could happen' and from then on i didn't let it worry me, it comes down to personality i suppose in the long run, i still have to push myself, but it does get easier.

Its like most things in life, if you could go back to when you were a teenager with the knowledge and attitude you have in later life, everything would be plain sailing

I tend to try mentioning something that their profile or images conjures up in my mind. I tend to build a mental picture of someone quite quickly and I'm then addressing that picture. (But then I have been schooled in Neuro Linguist Programming...kinda the art of body language and mood interpretation through words choice etc...so it does come naturally now)

Emmm, I think always easy to say " Hello" i even find it friendly to say it to everyone, and w me i think it comes out spontaneously, out of wicked soul maybe ..
