I doubt I’d buy much. Best advice ever I saw on the subject was from a lottery winner in the US. Said the advice he’d got - and followed - was stick most of it into high interest stuff so you get a very decent income, and then other than immediately portable stuff… Rent. Everything: homes (multiple), cars, everything…

As soon as you’re fed up of something, house, car, top of the range home entertainment system… just upgrade for a new one.

He said he never lives anywhere more than a year, changes the US state in which he lives every year or so, and plans to have lived in every US state by the time he’s done. Rents fully furnished hotel villas around the world for a month at a time when he wants a holiday.

I can think of worse ways to spend it...

Toys, lots of toys :rofl: ooo snd chocolate, maybe some beer, a bottle of whisky, ooo no maybe I'd just buy the distillery.

1, 3 month holiday to decide how to spend the money.
2, another 3 month holiday on how to budget on how to spend the money.
3, another 3 month holiday while they build the mansion.
4. Another 3 month holiday touring the World etc.
5, party like there’s no tomorrow and live life to the full.
6, Social Swinging yacht cruises begin with men and women serving fruit and cocktails et al.
7.... you decide ;) x

I would be browsing estate agent sites, for a nice Art Deco house, from the poolside bar, somewhere very warm, while somebody sells me a really bloody expensive sound system.
