Do you like it?
If so, what do you like? What do you enjoy to watch?
We don't watch much to be honest, as some of you will know - as far as myself is concerned, give me music any day of the week.

However, on the weekends, it's family time and we watch the usual crap with our youngsters and really have good time together. Our kids are aged from 10 to 26.. but we still have two young 'uns at home. :)
Sweets, pop, some naughty nibbles and we just make a fuss about it. So much so, it's firmly in our family as quality family time which is routine.
Hell, even our youngest rings my "Time for wine" bell at 20:00 :rofl:

I like the medium, not always everything that appears on it…

I like what can be done with the medium but as I said elsewhere, there are a few genres I dislike intensely. I can’t stand the talent shows, the reality shows, the comedy of laughing at people rather than with them. (In particular, I loathe the auditions rounds of the talent shows; to me, it’s the modern equivalent of going to the bedlam madhouse and laughing at the inmates.)

But as a form of transmitting information to the masses, for a method of shared enjoyment, television can’t be beat.

I hear you! Not my cup of tea but know what you mean. The only time really that we watch things like X-factor is for family time.
If I had the chance (lol @Pearls ) to have the box for a bit, it's documentaries all the way. When I was recovering from my last operation, it was WWII & war/weapons docs from morning until night. :D x

The only tv I watch is the shows I want to and on catch up and Neil is the same, my cousin watches it all the time and he loves the soaps but I find soaps not only boring but insulting with their lack of research on illnesses and such so I avoid them, believe me, I have had to watch soaps under duress with my mum so often and it irritates me. Tv and all it has to offer is mostly soaps and reality tv with so-called celebrity's that I have never heard of and then they react like arseholes. Tv programs I watch now which are set to record on the Tivo box are butterfly and there she goes that is it the rest you can keep it :)

Love TV series, hooked on Westworld, Criminal Minds, Walking Dead, American Horror Story anything that has a bit of an edge. We tend to be binge watchers though, will save a series and binge watch it over two nights. Cant stand soaps I just dont find them realistic at all, and not true to life. G has a thing for Forged in Steel at the moment. We tend to have a movie night 1 -2 times a week trying to educate the young one in the finer qualities of good films, educate him whilst hes young! S xxx

This is me down to a tee too. I don't watch terrestrial TV (I can't be doing with ads). I tend to binge watch box sets. I've just re-watched all of Red Dwarf and I wish that Game Of Thrones finale would hurry up and get here.

I've just been educating my 8 year old lad on the Christopher Reeve Superman films (not number 4 obviously).

Ukplaytv.uktv.co.uk you can watch all the new ones that Dave broadcast there. They're pretty good actually. Some good cameos by the early cast and fantastic homages to the first few series.
I won't spoil it for you (y)

Loved the superman films. When he reversed time by spinning the world backwards was epic ;)
