Do you think there is place for romance in swinging, does romance just have to be between two people why not three or four. Can a meet up be full of roses on the bed and scented candles, can you greet a swinging friend with flowers and a chocolate box or is swinging not the place for such things. What do you think? (and yeah I am using stereotypes of romance)

I think there’s absolutely a place for romance in swinging… if you’re into ‘romance’ (however you define it) as part of your everyday lives. I think of the times, say, I’ve heard of couples doing something special to mark a birthday, or an anniversary.

I’m less sure - and I’m happy to be corrected on this - whether there’s a place for it as ‘role play’, as a novelty. Whatever that is, and I’m sure it occurs, it’s not traditional romance.

Well we certainly are romantic by nature and whenever we have someone with us, we definitely make sure they feel it too. Candles, dinner, wine etc. All part of it imho.

I think as part of a couple it’s easier to include romance in to it. As singles it’s defining what the romance is for. Is it because it’s all part of who you are and what you like to include in any sexual encounter or is it because you are hoping for more of a romantic private relationship with that person. Wining and dining is great but for me personally flowers and such are more of a personal romantic gesture xx

A very good point, and I think I fall on that line too, but I think there's elements of romance that can be done in swinging.

We all need more romance in our lives. It feels good to make another feel good and it def makes each of us feel good when another is doing those nice romantic things, be it your significant other or just someone you are spending adventurous adult playtime with.
BE NICE TO EACH OTHER PEOPLE

Yep, a lot of that makes sense to me, and while you can’t be taught to be spontaneously romantic (as my ex-wife would definitely agree), I was pretty good at the Big Romantic Gestures, the ones that take planning and organising.

Why can’t romance flourish from meeting on a swinging site we all have feelings and hearts so why can’t we fall for that special person and find true love
Anything is possible in life if you want it
