Now famous people have them as we all know with plenty being prosecuted  but in real life with everyday people, have any of you had one or even more. This could be online or off.

I’ve had one or two odd ones in the past online and they tend to follow you everywhere and watch everything you do, just like offline where they would hide behind bushes or bus stops :D perhaps, just waiting for a glimpse or a perv, hoping you’ll drop something:eek:

I do know of a few people that have been effected by such behaviour and I myself has a new one, pain in the arse he is..Where ever I am online he’ll follow me and watch everything I do but never says a single word... Creepy eh. Yet I know that one phone call and he’ll be toast. You may be thinking to yourself.. Why not get shot? The thing is I’ve actually become used to it and now feel I can laugh at such attention..Odd as it may seem..

Ok so have you ever experienced such behaviour and if so, how did it effect you and what did you do about it?
;)

Oh and yes it is a genuine real post for everyone thinking, is she taking the p.... :D

Lol. There is something a little bit empowering when you are having flirty comment messages back and forth between 2 site members and you start getting notifications that a third party is "liking"your comments. @Pearls

But full on stalking must be scary so glad we havent experienced it. Xx G

Only had the one, years ago. Entirely unrelated to my presence in the scene; unrelated to anything to do with sex… started online in a forum I moderated, then progressed to ‘real life’ threats. Now I’m ugly enough, and was experienced enough with online life back then, not to worry about my own safety. But when it was threats against my family… and threats to spread the vilest sexual rumours about me…

...yeah, I got the police involved.

Without going into details, suffice to say that the problem… went away.

Wow that’s scary stuff.
I know we’ve mentioned it before but we had a similar problem. They even threatened to kill our children. Police is the best way (y)

I'd feel so sorry for anyone stalking me that I'd issue them an apology for being so boring and then out of continued guilt try and spice up my life to give them something interesting to see, like going on a slightly different walk route than a normally do, that's exciting right?

Possibly so. But why apologise? Not for them surely?
What about anyone you are staking, if so ... if not then so be it
But nah seriously, don’t apologise for others. :)

I had an online stalker who actually became a real life stalker.
He followed me from a social club miles from my home ,then started turning up outside my house sitting opposit in his car for days on end till i became so paranoid id not go out ,either taking my kids to school to going shopping, in the end i rang the police who arrested him and i applied for a restraining order against him , scary at the time and makes you feel very insecure
