Whoa hang on miss @nightowl30 blacksmithing , not normally an occupation for genteel ladies ! Spill the beans !! Xx
I had the opportunity to attend a free session back in june and then invited back for the last funded session this month. 1st session I was the only one who took up the offer and made to metal hooks, 2 copper bracelets and a copper crochet hook, could be used for buttons on a basque lol. The 2nd session I did some more work on my bracelets and managed to talk one of the guys to polish them for me. Also attempted to make a copper anchor pendant, I found that too fiddly so think all the guys (5) helped me get it done.20190709_221747.jpg 20190611_163442.jpg

Apart from the blacksmithing, I do mosaicing, scrapbooking, card making , a but if jewellery making, cross stitch knitting and crocheting. I've also got a dolls house and all furnishings to make, brought it by weekly installments

See that's where everyone has an advantage over me..i am useless at most things with my hands..I say most things my definition of diy is don't involve yourself and that's usually for the best ..if anyone has seen frank spencer than that's me..as for hobbies I love steam trains but unfortunately not enough free time to spare..I was a volunteer at a heritage tramway but same again not enough free time to commit as much as I wanted.i did train as a conductor with view to becoming a driver but working permanent nights put paid to everything..W..:(

Ok folks I’m sure we have talents aplenty on here, get them out and get them on show !!!
Quite a few really but time constraints don’t help the cause.
So, music - playing and listening to. It’s an essential part of my life and always has been. My father (who recently passed) was an excellent musician and played in a well known band. He was influential in music for me from as far back as I can recall.

Family is very important to us too. We do all we can and as much as we can. So that means going out and about, fishing, walking, music, etc etc.

I also enjoy making homemade wine and foraging for it;

As for HRH - upcycling, gardening, singing, (she’s an excellent singer to be fair!) floristry, making & doing. :)
She’s really very creative to be fair. Some of the things she can come up with are just amazing.
