I quite often see people saying "I blame porn for that", but can you really?

I'm thinking about things like ( but not limited to) squirting, hotwifing, cuckold etc. Granted in the case of something like hotwifing then maybe porn gave it its name but all these were about in pre-internet days.

I think some things do yes. But also no. I see the Trans community often say that the whole TS threesome or more some thing is the way it is because it’s been fetishised.
Personally I disagree and don’t put it down to porn. If you want to liaise with someone who is a (MTF) TS - it’s because you may be keen on the boob and cock thing. Not fetishised through porn but could be a fantasy.

Hotwifing yes. Cuckold no I don’t think so. That’s again more fantasy isn’t it.
I do think there’s an influence thought but not as much as people throw around.

I have never really given much thought to this subject to be honest..new phrases have come into play with the introduction of the internet but you sort of accept them and use them without really thinking about it to the point where they become the norm....maybe old porn movies had something to do with it but again it's the fact that you just use the wording without a second thought..if you look at language in general now it has changed so much....I think we just adapt and get used to it but it's only when someone questions it you start to think...W..

As a sapiosexual I’m not a huge lover of porn and only really watch it if I come across something I’ve never heard of to explore and find out more !
So my opinion will carry no weight whatsoever, but I do believe porn has legitimised some of the more extreme sex acts, which is fine BUT often these acts need more experience and skill than that indicated in the films !

Gut feel - no more than that - is it’s a two way street: some things have gotten their names from porn, sometimes porn has merely showed a wider watching world what the people doing [this] or [that] were already calling it.

Me? I’m a huge fan of personal use of porn; video and prose; it may be a poor substitute for the real thing, but as poor substitutes go, when you’ve got no other outlet, it’s a pretty damn good one.
