So sexy peeps when your looking at members and viewing profiles do you get put off if their really close to you or is this more of an incentive to make contact and try and arrange a meet...

For us personally we tend to look further afield..I know everyone says if their on the site it's for the same reason as you and I get that but can't get my head past the fact it could be someone we know..I also know people don't really brag about being in this lifestyle as it's a bit of a taboo subject but could you really chance meeting someone from your area and them accidentally saying to someone you know that they have seen you on a certain website..you might not even find out who they said it to..it could just be a slipped sentence in passing ..

Doesn’t really bother me I have seen other people out and about some I have met and others that I have seen on profiles . Discretion is the key to swinging . If I have seen people and let them know I have it’s really not a problem .

We look for people who are near to us. Mainly because we are limited to traveling to far, and weekends away are very rare.
Our families don’t live local, so the risk of them funding out is unlikely, but if they did find out we are sure they wouldn’t take kindly to it.
Say all this, regardless of where we look , we are struggling to find anyone local, which is becoming very frustrating.

Mum's the word,other people might not be as comfortable with their business being out there , so you must respect their wishes always?

Who said anything about approaching them. What we mean is, if people ask where we met we are happy to say at the VA, a swingers club.
If people mention swinging we tell them we are. We do not broadcast the fact we are swingers but we do not hide the fact.

There is only one active member really close to me so as I’ve met her bumping into isn’t an issue ,but if I did happen to and she was with someone the i’d walk on by with a wry smile ....

I don't think it has ever worried us too much. The closest family member is my mother and although I don't discuss our sex life with her, and I'm pretty sure Debs doesn't, I don't think she would be surprised or particularly shocked if she found out. My sister probably would be but as we hardly ever speak to her it wouldn't really matter. My step-sister wouldn't be surprised at all neither would my step-brother, he leads a bit of an alternative lifestyle himself and is so laid back he is almost horizontal. Both of them live hundreds of miles away anyway.

That's about it as far as family are concerned. We did have an incident a number of years ago when someone at Debs work found a video online of her squirting which he took great delight in showing as many people as possible but one of our friends (I worked there as well at the time) told us. A senior manager warned him off and he was sacked a few months later for something else. Rather than being shocked or disgusted most people were interested, with one girl telling us she'd been doing it for years and was really embarrassed thinking she had a 'problem'

TLDR: We don't give a fuck :)

I can only speak from my own personal experiences and to be totally honest NO I wouldn't want to meet anyone particularly close to where I live/work again (I mean the same town or next town over), the issues around cross friendships and letting our dirty little secret out is always a consideration in these scenarios, not that I am ashamed of what we do but personally I like to keep my two lives very separate even though this means we don't enjoy as many experiences as we would like. (P)

I have to be very careful as I have a gf who doesn’t know. But it doesn’t put me off meeting people close by. I never befriend on social media and I always leave the plausible deniability option open. I’ll take my time to trust people been working out well so far

To the original post, near or far. It makes no difference and if we bumped into someone we knew in this scene then they are doing the same as us which has happened. Making the effort is key and enjoying yourselves, we’ll all be long gone soon ??
