I have to wear glasses at times for reading this social swinging forum incase I say something rather inpertenant!

Haha yes I need reading glasses myself but it doesn't stop me making the odd thro away comment.

Indeed, you can say something that's close to the bone... maybe risque attached or even questionable to the point of making others feel uncomfortable - which is the beauty of the site.
But there's a line between uncomfortable truth and being abusive or offensive. Just have to make sure we know where the line is.


Had a comfortable type status with a lady, call it a girlfriend scenario - curvy, in tune with us and us her.. we shared the same ideas, the same paths, the same styles.. and she was 10 years my junior.
Nothing can always be defined in labels & pigeon holes. ? x

So here's something to think about;

If you have no preference over size, sexuality, gender, ethnicity, type, smoking, non-smoking, full swap, soft swap and on and on et al.
The basically you are saying you're 'open for anything' to coin a phrase.
But what does that say about you? What about the person you're meeting?
Is it not a slight desperation to be in a position to say you basically want to shag anything that moves?

Good point. We all have preferences and for everyday stuff (food, clothes, holidays etc) we are happy to admit to those preferences. However when it comes to discussing our sexual preferences then the outcome is more restrained, no pun intended. I know some of my preferences have changed over time and I know I'm certainly not the naive newbie I was when I joined this site.
I guess some will feel uncomfortable in stating that they, for example are bi-curious, so opt out by simply saying they will try anything instead of being open about there desires and fantasies.

Cuffs and restraints I have plenty of access to today but when I first joined the site, as a newbie, I was unsure if BDSM was accetable on a swingers site and as a submissive male there was always the thought in my mind that as a male shouldn't I be a dominant. So that is one of my preferences I personally felt a little uncomfortable discussing.
I also always thought I was straight and although I have never touched another male, going to clubs and having meets has left that little niggling thought in my mind that says What it. Ok they may not be the most startling admissions but my point is I did have preferences but as I say those original preferences have changed over time. Also the very fact I'm discussing them now in an open thread is something I would never had considered as a newbie. So my preferences may have changed but I still have them. with the exception of liking women at an early stage more then men

you could ask them politely not to smoke

and to add to this
say they turned up and they had eaten garlic because I know someone who turned up with a white shirt in the heat stuffing his face of food with a stain on his shirt and his breath stunk of garlic, would you say the same thing? I know I would
