So after chatting with a few people in the last couple of weeks it really got me thinking about threesomes and the dynamics of it.. Everytime we have had a threesome it has always been all 3 people involved and playing together but after chatting with some people it turns out that not everyone does the same..
So the question is as a couple does the male half like to get involved or just sit and watch everything that's going on??.

well iv been in 3 diffent types of threesomes
first time with two good friends they where the cuple and i was the extra that was fun
second time was me and my ex-wife it took us months to find some one we both liked and i was happy to watch that time
third time i didnt know i was in a threesome untill near the end this time i was at bike rally and hucked up haft way throw she went to loow and her twin sis came in

I don't think I could really see myself sitting there watching.. I have to be involved in all the fun but this is why I'm asking because I'm curious about other people's thinking.. ??

It depends on couple's desires and tastes because the two situations are very different. As for me, if you talk about a threesome, everyone gets involved and all three people play, instead if the male half just sits and watches I consider it a cuckold play. Both are exciting, but they should be handled in a different way. Also the single gent has a different role and should play in a different way. Anyway, in both situations all are involved if the single is aware of his role, the only difference is that during one the male partner doesn't have sex, while in the other all people play.
In the end, I love playing in the two roles and in both way, however I prefer when all three people play.

From the female point of view in this couple I wouldn’t want my man just to be watching and not getting involved at all. If we ever find the elusive single lady to join in I’m definitely involved lol! No way I could sit on my hands ? watching!

Like you say it’s the being able to lock eyes, touch each other, see each other’s enjoyment and both add to it that increases the thrill.

On most occasions when involved with a threesome everyone has been involved,there was one occasion when the husband didn’t get involved at all during the weekend but each to there own ,if invited to join a couple the expected norm would be all playing but as has been said other scenarios can happen these would generally be discussed before hand ..

Ditto to all. All of our 3sums have involved all 3 playing. But some have involved me only playing with Ry whilst she gets all of the attention from our extra female and myself.
That being said it's good to sit back and watch 2 girls get lost in each other before joining them both.

This is the reason I started the thread I realise everyone is different with regards cuckold,,getting involved or watching..I’m just curious what people’s preferences are really..I honestly thought apart from cuckold everybody just played together but I realise now that’s not the case..everyone is free to make their own choices that,s the great thing about this lifestyle..W.. :tiphat:

I’m really anti just being watched. We were in a situation once where we were chatting to another couple and the female was clearly interested in us both. We had seen this couple before at a club and it was clear to us that the male was 100% watcher but ... I just couldn’t. He gave me the willies and not in a good way! ?

I think for me personally I would feel pressured in that situation.. Like your being judged in some weird goldfish bowl situation.. It's probably nothing like that but that's how it would feel for me.. Mrs h always like everyone involved too.. She says that's the whole point of it.. An extra person bringing extra fun.. W.. ???

I like to know that everyone is satisfied. The thought of being observed is odd to me... especially having had so many occasions which include 3 of of us. Even though we are adventurous in the bedroom, voyeurism is not on my radar in any way. I dont like to watch, I dont even enjoy watching porn (G has some on right now!).
