Evening folks,

I’ve noticed quite a few fellas put their old chap as an avatar or Upload it
among their pics.

Is this an advantage or more of a turn off when trying to meet people?

Should one unsheathe oneself straight away , or leave some things to the imagination?

Still new to this scene so apologies if this sounds like a daft question!

Welcome to SS....
Definitely not a daft question when new we all wonder what’s acceptable so ask questions,take a look at other profiles to get a feel of what people do ...
Your avatar at the moment is perfect just something for the imagination or to get that person interested in knowing more .... Dick pics have been discussed widely here and as an avatar best avoid in my opinion .... :tiphat:

Your avatar is the first impression so you want to show people that you have a good, interesting profile. It’s not going to give that impression. Adding a mixture of photos to your media is what I would advise, some ladies like to see dick pics and some don’t. Mix it up a bit but stay away from remotes and beer cans :D Oh and toilets:sick:

No beer or remotes and I’ve just found miniature ones to make it look mahoooosive :D

Everyone has different views on cock pics which is great but it’s a sex site and there are people out there that do like to see ...
but have to agree the ones with the huge ones tend to post them ASAP .... :tiphat:

No thank you! Dick pics are not going to persuade us or draw us in. A bit of humour, being able to engage in a chat without asking if I enjoy watersports and whilst writing in coherent sentences is where it’s at for us. That doesn’t guarantee results but it’s a great start ... for us it’s all about being a gent and having something about you ... and that doesn’t mean the size of your cock!

I have a few in my album, not sure how they have gone public, I must be doing something wrong as they are not intended for public show. I know what I have between my legs and I'm the first to admit its not much to boast about compared to others. 2 months ago I wouldn't have dared show any photos of my parts or even my body.

Exactly why I have done it, to be truthfully I can't answer that. I know it does not impress the ladies on here, but i think its a way of saying this is me take it or leave it. Its certainly not an ego trip, I know who I am and what I have. As I was told on another site, your an overweight bald short bloke who should accept that and give up. Maybe I'm trying to prove to myself that I'm not passed but trying too hard.

Yeah, I’d always assumed an avatar knob display was a little too direct and may be seen as classless or unsophisticated, like apes flashing their tackle at each other across the treetops. Intimidating, but not really enticing.

Still, good luck to anyone with a cock like a Pringles tube, as I would post something similar, I’m sure, if I were equally blessed. I’m sure a schlong like that can open a few doors for them, in all senses of the term.

@Therapon just put a new pic in the album but it has come up in the new media page. Not sure why when privacy is set to only me viewing album. I must be doing something wrong

OK two things, firstly you will see your own photo's appear in New Media whatever the album privacy is set to because you are the owner.

Secondly the album privacy, who can view is currently set to Everyone as far as I can tell, change it to either Registered Members or to Specific members. Registered Members means any member, but not the public can view your media. Hope that helps.
