Yes. I used to have a fuck buddy who pretty much opposed every view I had on anything ever but the sexual chemistry and the tensions we built were through the roof.

I think the fact we didn't like each other made it hotter in a way, it was purely physical and primal in that we just HAD to fuck the other into not being such a fuckwit and so adamant they were right all the time.

Definitely I would. If someone let their politics get in the way or guide their sexual satisfaction then I find that quite sad.

Actually, I've had a huge difference of opinion, politically, with another member, no names but they know who they are and we won't allow that get in the way of our friendship and definitely not in the way of swinging if the occasion arose again.
