Me too however TT is motorbikes - road racing on Isle of Man, so those engines are not relevant to the bikes ?
4 wheels are better than 2... safer too ?
That coming from an ex biker... come off at speed... never get back on one again

Yes I totally understand, I admire the races immensely. Mr D has been off several times - never his fault and thankful never injured too seriously but he reads the road and people’s action well and always has full protective gear, no matter what the weather ?
I was in full gear, reading the road as far as I could see... then a car decided to pull out straight in front of me... ive no time to stop... so went over the roof!

I suppose being in hospital for 3 months does tend to put me off getting back on a bike... feel safer in a car now, always wear a seat belt and never drive like a maniac ?

Mr D had same thing, clear road, saw him coming and thought they could pull out before him - total misjudgement of speed - he thankful went over bonnet and managed to turn somehow so slid more along road - thankful not into any incoming cars or trees etc. Bikes are dangerous but so are cars, and both our sins are cyclists - nothing is safe ? but you have to live to enjoy life as much as you can ?
