Mr D had same thing, clear road, saw him coming and thought they could pull out before him - total misjudgement of speed - he thankful went over bonnet and managed to turn somehow so slide more along road - thankful not into any incoming cars or trees etc. Bikes are dangerous but so are cars, and both our sins are cyclists - nothing is safe ? but you have to live to enjoy life as much as you can ?

The more safe cars become often the more dangerous for what they hit - manufacturers are only just in the last few years beginning to consider impact for others outside the car ?
