The Gs is an accomplished bike but at roughly 20k with the issues around the prop bearings, the dodgy powdercoating on the engines and the tft's getting nicked etc I couldn't in good conscience part with my money for one

I love the idea of a shift drive but not at 20k just yet lol
I test rode the 2021 1250 triple black Gs and it was awesome and so much fun but even that had a few problems with only 800 miles on the clock?

A lot less hassle than a chain ,I have heard build quality has gone down hill on them
I have only ever ridden my old 600 so haven’t experienced anything over a thou yet

There’s a smoother power delivery. Not as aggressive as chain driven. But still pack a punch. You’ve got more torque there.
I don’t mind either tbh. Both are just as good.

Badly smashed up my knee a few years ago. Don’t think I’d be able to go far now. Been riding since I was 15. But really badly smashed my knee in. So even just a short blip to the coast would probably give me grief now.
Still miss it though. ?

Not this one. I fell backwards, trapped my foot in a door and snapped it sideways and backwards.
I’ve smacked it a few times coming off too. So now it’s really badly damaged. I’ve had two or three ops on it to straighten it up.
Bolted together etc.

On a serious note, the Vmax was the most comfortable but not on really long journeys, as for the FZR it can stay in the scrappies and I couldn’t see me ever get on the back of a sports bike again. I more for an old mans bike now like a pan ?
