My friend was telling me about some ****** sex he had last night, out of nowhere, and I said I wasn't really interested in knowing the details. And he said oh, but you're the only person in my life who I can talk to about certain things. Now I feel like a bitch for saying I wasn't interested. What am I meant to do now? I don't feel like a very good friend. Not that I ever really have been in the past anyway..

It's a difficult one. From my point of view I have one person in real life that I can confide in my life style. Best thing is to text/call saying you are sorry but you don't want graphic details but support him
This... (y)

Also Mark, I think this is the most sensible and sincere thing I've seen you write ;) :D
But I'd say Mark is spot on..

True. I'm always shy to talk about fantasy dildos and things like that because people can be pretty judgemental about things like that

Thanks @Admin
It really is a sore subject with a lot of people. It's one thing chatting to fellow people on here, but in real life you worry what people will say or how they judge you

Sadly it's human nature to be judgemental of others. More open minded people aren't, some people are not at all.. But a lot of people are judgemental and it's something that worries almost everyone..
It's pretty narrow minded to be judgemental of others.

One thing that has always amazed me in this lifestyle is the sheer amount of judgemental people, in what's supposedly a non-judgemental scene.. Luckily it's not so much on here, but other places are and rife with it.

I'd say I'm desensitised to it. There was a news report a couple of months back about a girl being raped in a park or something and then something else about a baby being murdered. I didn't really feel much of anything towards it because it's something that you hear quite often now. It used to make me sad but not really now..

I agree that confiding in people can be tricky especially when you don't want to know the details. For example my carer and I have an agreement that we are there for each other regardless but we don't need to know the details. For me this means that in this scene she knows where I am but she does not know or want to know anymore then that. Baring in mind that people sexually will enjoy different things its great for your friend to do as they wish but don't feel bad about not wanting to know the details @TheBrunetteandtheSexToy just be there as a friend but just explain that you do not need to know all the details
