We thought we would give you all an insight to how we live in Spain, and what its like to be have a naturist holiday here. (Maybe even tempt you to visit)
Vera Playa (our home town) is based on the sunny South East Coast line of Spain in Almeria. (about ¾ of an hour from Almeria Airport), It is the only FULLY approved naturist zone in Spain and Europe that is full subsidised by the government to promote tourism within a fully naturist area.
Obviously, all of the members on here, are not afraid to show their bodies (or we should hope not, as it’s a swinging site lol), so naturally the perfect vacation spot for a confident couple should be a naturist one, and what better place to show yourselves off and meet new people, and get a great all over tan. (Plus, the clothing middle man is cut out up front so saves so much time on sexual small talk, lol)
Before you all urgently book tickets here, during the summer days, it’s a predominantly family naturist zone where everyone enjoys the safe relaxed freedoms of total naturism. There is a fully naturist Hotel here, and also naturist restaurants, and hundreds of great value self-catering apartments with communal pools, all within private separate estates (known as urbanisations) and all located within the full naturist zone.
(The shopping areas and surrounds, are fully clothed areas only, as a lot of people visit them from outside the area)
The 2km naturist beach is around a 5-minute walk away, and all routes to and from are fully naturist/clothes optional, so you will see many relaxed naked people/couple/families walking around to and from the beach area.
Everyone you meet, you will find friendly and confident, and not afraid to chat to you, we have personally found naturists to be among some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
The naturist walk ways to and from the beach are lined with naturist bars and tapas bars, where you can relax naked, socialise, and enjoy tapas and a drink to cool down, and on the beach, there are many naked beach tapas bars to enjoy late into the summer evenings. (And drinks are very reasonably priced here)
After around 8.00 pm most families with kids and teens tend to leave to go home and relax in their own space, leaving it pretty much an adult single and couple’s zone. This is where the adventurous side of naturism can and usually takes place and well into the early hours, the drinks flow more freely, and conversations can turn more adult.
Being naked with a few drinks flowing, as you will appreciate can turn exciting, and usually does to be honest, but be aware, NOT everyone you meet will be a swinger/s, (but with respect to you all, you will spot those comfortable within the lifestyle a mile off)
Sexual behaviour on the beach and in public places is strictly against the law, and penalties are very high, so the fact that your accommodation is only 5 minutes away is really a bonus, and privacy in your holiday home/hotel is far better than been arrested for lewd behaviour.
(The local police (Guardia Civil) are armed here in Spain)
We work and live fully within the naturist zone, as we own, and manage rental apartments on behalf of people not resident here, so we are naked much of the time, though now we live here permanently, we actually find it cold, and wear warm clothing in the winter months, whereas many brits visiting are usually stripped bare as its lovely and warm for them here still lol!!! (Average day temperatures during winter days 16 to 18 degrees)
So that is our home in a nutshell, we love it, we feel healthier than we ever did in the UK, our tans are all year round and topped up pretty much daily, we have a huge circle of friends Lifestyle and non-lifestyle, and wouldn’t change a thing.
(And yes, we are still selectively but discreetly active (due to work) and still love it)
