The amendment outlawing the "rough sex" defence will be added to the Domestic Abuse Bill today, as it enters its Report Stage in the House of Commons. The clause added by the government rules out "consent for sexual gratification" as a defence for causing serious harm, in England and Wales.

If there's no consent, it's rape.
Yes, some people enjoy rough sex but it need to be communicated both ways. Not just "I'll have what I want, when I want and there's nothing you can do about it".

The "rough sex" defense being outlawed is a good thing.

Fine lines but rough sex being used as a defence of rape is just wrong...
