While reading a recent article

Statistics are showing On average, British couples have sex once to twice a week.

Below is the average amount of time people spend while having


% of the people Average sex time
20% 1 - 5 minutes
35% 6 - 10 minutes
25% 11 - 15 minutes
15% 15 - 30 minutes
5% longer than 30 minutes


Are you average or above or below the national averages

Personally I was surprised the Length of time people are spending having sex ... 20% only having sex for 1-5 mins minutes

Not being a couple it don’t really apply but I wouldn’t mind 5 minutes a week .... be 5minutes more than now :D:D

Surely all those times are a bit short if every thing is included, I'd say including foreplay 30 minutes is the bare minimum for me.

Also when I've been in relationships I'd have sex four or five times a week.

I find these findings to be disappointing :(

I'm sure there have been occasions where I've fell into all of those categories just depending on the mood... if there's only time for a quickie so be it but I do prefer the long slow version where possible x

As we are all obviously much more sexual people on here than the average Daily Fail reader say :eek: It is no surprise that we would be way above those strangely low "averages". Sex once or twice a week ffs get real! :rofl:

Yeah bearing in mind, this would also be filled in, I should imagine, by mostly extremely busy people with families, or long working hours and so finding the time would be of course, incredibly difficult. x
