Indeed there are loads in chat but mainly 1-2-1, as Pearls said by all means try inviting people into the chatrooms, they may join you.
almost 7k messages have been exchanged within the last 24 hours. and 24.5k since the start of the month. They're busy..

Anyway yes we know it is an issue and what I did do was run out an upgrade the other day, but that then affected the chatrooms.
I had no choice but to roll back the update and hence the bug was back.
