It’s Christmas Eve, definitely a different one here.
Usually HRH and the troops go and visit family, play games and celebrate with about 20+ people. While they do that, I put on some tunes and prep the Turkey, the veg and have a pint or a glass of something..
This year, everyone is home and no meetings allowed.
But, we will still do all the prep work and cooking etc, with a few glasses later on.

What’s your usual schedule for Christmas Eve? Do you have set plans that you usually traditionally do? X

I'm celebrating Christmas over three days as usual.
Here we are allowed to meet only two relatives and have lunch together so I'll meet and eat with my parents who live on the other side of the street.
Each day I'll cook a different menu as our traditions.

Usual, doing nothing but sitting by the pool with drink in hand as brother in law does all cooking when we visit them in Florida.

No chance of going anywhere near them in very long foreseeable future I feel - so home, tree up, had our visitors all from island ? around (as holding on to tier 1 for just another day, fridge stacked and just the teenagers and I now playing good old fashioned board games ♟ and TV tonight ?

Well as is traditional in our home, I’ve made everyone a turkey sandwich. Some nibbles and all are content & happy.
Happy with the vino and no scran me. But they enjoyed so all good.
Loads of booze flying around the place though & not just me.
Finally feeling more festive. Enjoy all. X

This whole mess has made me remember Criggy's past and how they made me feel then.
Helping my mum prep everything on Christmas eve and sneaking the presents while everyone else was asleep. Uncle Ted always saying how good the sprouts are ❤️
I'm going to lose my Humgbug badge at this rate ?

That’s wonderful my man. Good memories.
The good ones have only been since HRH and our family, so I appreciate every single one. Too many not pleasant, so now try to enjoy it as best I can.
It’s definitely good to have fond memories this time of year I think. Lovely. X
