Saw Les Dawson on an old "Good Old Days" repeat last week - had forgotten how erudite and witty he was, a great loss to comedy. Loved Frankie Howard too, he could get the audience in stitches without actually saying very much, just with rolling his eyes, gesturing and making the odd comment - a real master of innuendo!
