I’ve just read another girl has been murdered after meeting her date from an app.
Are these dating apps opening people up to all sorts of predators?
Have you had any bad experience from them or would you stay away?

Interesting question. I don't think the apps themselves are to blame, we always have and always will have predators. The difference now I guess is that prior to apps these people would have had limited opporutinities, word soon gets around locally if anyone is seen to be a sexual predator but with the advent of apps it gives them a lot more potential victims over a greater geographic area.

I agree with @Therapon. I don't believe the apps are to blame but they do give predators a more accessible/easier way of getting at people, gut instinct is something everyone should go with on these things, but sometimes the predators are very good at disguising themselves well.
In all honesty even though apps/internet/technology in general is great, it also has its downside, and I think the world isn't as safe as it used to be. S x

It isn’t as safe and I think that goes with the sites or apps used. Without the correct security who knows what your walking into, never happened here but the verification system can be manipulated on other sites, thinking you’re meeting a lady for example because you believe in the profile to meeting up with a guy purely down to fake accounts and not having good security in place.
That’s one for the dark side of on line swinging I think
