She has very special ears doesn't she?!
Unfortunately she has many issues being a rescue but she's my baby & protector  xx

Yeah, we have the same with Baxter. He was found at the side of a motorway in Bulgaria, wrapped in 3 bin-bags. The pads on his paws had burned away where he had obviously been kept in a tar or concrete compound in the hot sun. He was at the rescue place for 6 months before beginning his journey to us. He never leaves my side. He is a very loving animal. Just craves attentio all the time. And I know if any of us were threatened he would be unstoppable. They sleep in with the sheep and are basically bred to hunt wolves. He has no fear in him at all. an Incredible animal.

It breaks my heart when I think of all the dogs that are stray and mistreated. Portia was rescued from a drug dealer and has terrible trust issues!
If anyone comes anywhere near me she goes into protective mode! I could walk her down the darkest alley in the roughest part of town and not have to worry about it!!
She sleeps on the bed with me every night!!!

My dogs sleep in the bedroom with me, and at least one of them will be next to me in the morning. There is something very comforting about having another species look after you as you sleep.

Had dogs since I was 8. Last one was wonderful. I won't use his name here and won't publish a photo, but the attached is a spitting image. Huge working pedigree but sadly went deaf and turned funny because of it.

I'm so enjoying all the pics of your fury friends and reminds me of the 4 Jack Russel terriers my parents had when i was in my teens, they all had separate little personality's but loved each one so much and they do become your family. Sadly all passed away now and i broke my heart each time one of them died. Will try and dig out some pics for you in the week.

Oh both so gorgeous .... how did your eldest take to the new addition? We're thinking of getting a second.. also have a cat Angus, who rules the roost :D! xx

She's not overly keen! He's a little too lively for her, she tells him off a lot and it sounds worse than it is! She was very intimidating to him at first and it was hard not over doing it with the cuddles, making sure we fussed her more than him but she's got used to him now!

Haha yes I bet, they normally do! The amount of times I've seen Jess belting it round the corner being chased off by a cat.... So funny! Xx
