If we receive such messages, I always will respond with - hello and good morning/evening to you too.
This gets my point across. Maybe snobby to some, but I don’t believe in opening any sort of contact or messages with others without even a courteous ‘hello’ at bare minimum lol x

I reply to some politely, I’m never rude in the reply and some I forget to reply back to.. I think to myself that some are just nervous and that shows if they reply but some are just trying to see what they can get out of the chat.

I’ve had a good think about this & although I find their opener very unimaginative! I will respond back, however I’m not going to hold my breath!

If they can’t even be bothered to put some effort into that first message, it’s probably just a copy and paste to 50 other people!

if I’m messaging someone, I’ll at least try and spark up a conversation some playful banter.
