It's sponge, so I would say cake " Jaffa cakes not Jaffa biscuits" I don't dunk them thou

Confirmed. Jaffa Cakes ARE cakes and are classed as cakes by HM revenue and customs under their taxes etc.
One suggestion is because biscuits go soft and cakes go hard after a prolonged time. As do Jaffa Cakes.
Sorry had to bump this with the fact we just heard at SS HQ.
