Even if it's not directly Christmas related, feel free.

Okay, so some will know I am a stoner, rocker, tekno & metal head and trancer...
But I do love good old Christmas songs too.

That said, one of my faves is Joni Mitchell - River. (Along with the Pogues..) I think Ellie Goulding did an amazing cover.

Why people think this is a Christmas song I'll never know. Yeah it has an upbeat tune but look at the lyrics. Coming from someone who spent two Christmas' in not so nice sandy places (and almost 5 years away from home in my time) it resonates more with hurt than fucking Christmas.

There was very little point to that song edited. It says what it says to try to make a point. I'm still happy it got there rather than some sanitised corporate robot shite ?
