Just realised there have been no additions to this thread since since April, so I thought an update was in order. Plans are now well advanced for this fun in the sun summer festival. Details of what's on and prices are shown elsewhere so I won't duplicate here. Ticket sales continue but the Early Bird prices end on 30th June. The club's onsite hotel was fully booked for this event straight after last year's Festival, so for people staying for the weekend it's tents, caravans or camper vans. As always, there are also the four local hotels the club recommends. At the top end Wyboston Lakes, for middle of the road accommodation there are the 2 Premier Inns, and closest to the club is the usually best priced Travelodge. Contact details for all four are on the FAQ page of the club's website.
The site opens on Friday afternoon for those camping. Visitors can attend for the whole weekend or just for Friday or Saturday. On Friday night as people settle in, events have in the past been mainly based in the main club but this year the Country Kitchen in the outside grounds will be providing snacks and meals until the early hours.
Saturday daytime is a mix of socialising plus fun and games as people look forward to the evening entertainment in the massive inflatable marquee. The main club will of course be open too and if previous years are anything to go by, people will be having fun well into the night.
