How do you approach the subject of iffy smells when meeting, what if the person/persons you were about to jump in with had some odours you didn’t like

I sincerely hope i never have to face this dilemma...but if i did, i'd probably suggest a nice steamy shower together
This option definitely seems like a good call. I guess it all depends on the facilities available, but there was no way around the 'stinky situation' then I'd subtly excuse myself and make my escape without upsetting the other party.

Probably not the wet and slippery type of stuff they expected
I'm goibg to assume you mean a " when was the last time they bathed" smell and not a smell from working with food or paint.
If they couldn't be bothered to bathe before meeting me, I would be afraid of what else I would find when they were naked.
I might need a can of bug spray and a club.
I would probably say, the sitter just called, I have to go, he set the cat on fire, again.
