I've spent 6 years? tinkering with them. I've redesigned them twice. I will eventually have them printed commercially, once I'm completely happy with the designs...

I have others... there's a range. I got into shadow boxes a couple of years back after seeing the damned things in charity shops stuffed full of dried flowers or whatever.

Can't find the nitrous oxide one... hmmm...

Then, in a charity shop, I found a box of butterflies that someone who'd died had presumably collected, all covered in dust and plastic. I put those in shadow boxes too...

This butterfly is from Borneo and is about 15cm wide

Yes they're very attractive and detailed. We have some here somewhere @Pearls don't we? But I don't know where anymore.. am sure she made some before?..

I have flights of fancy associated with cards. I used to collect prostitute's calling cards and decorated the loo with them, floor to ceiling, colour-coordinated so it swept round the walls in a rainbow. With women in various suggestive poses offering an extremely wide range of services. That used to scare guests.

Or the time I found a playing card on the streets of London and idly wondered how long it would take to make a complete set of found cards... 8 years as it turned out
