My agree is not about your grammar I might add.Simple answer yes - I'm the same as @Therapon I cant stand text speak it really annoys me, I find it hard to decipher and also I think it makes our children worse at spelling, and very lazy too.

Ohhh when I was first made to have a mobile phone - one of the very old Nokias that just about made calls and sent texts - for safety reasons I was very much against it. By the end of the year, I'd gotten some of the kids on the estate to show me how to use it and picked up some great shortcuts 4 kwik txting.Never liked this whole text speak.. Yep we have tried giving her one of our Iphones, nope she won't have any of it. Aaawww but I wanna use slang and you're not gonna stop me.There are about 2 short cut words i cannot bare and they grate on me something terrible. Why do people use gonna, wanna, why can you not type going to and want to. Aside from that i am tolerant but to a point as i think using correct words shows more intelligence although i wont have a hissy fit over the odd short cut as i do it on odd occasions myself. Plus i cannot spell for toffeeIf a certain softly spoken Scottish accent was whispered in my ear or a well spoken English one i would go to jelly

Living with a family of dyslexics they often see the letters the wrong way round but their brain seems to adjust it to provide the correct meaning so half the time they don't even realise it's the wrong word xI love correct grammar and punctuation, when a man uses that and can say things to me in a message that will have me begging him to come fuck me, even before touching me, then I am seriously impressed.
I have known some true dyslexics and they strive to improve themselves and use software like Dragon Speech (i think thats the right name) to help them, then there are the lazy people who believe that education ends when you leave school.
The one thing that baffles me is when people write does as dose, what do they think when they read the instructions on liquid medicine and do not realise it is a completely different word.

No not always. My husband regularly copies words down incorrectly and will not realise that they are different.If both words are side by side do they not see the difference?
I have some friends who are dyslexic that they have to use different coloured paper and screens to stop the words moving, its why they use voice software to type.
