Members- Good The Bad And The Ugly

So as a follow on from the etiquette post regarding new members . I have been thinking - yes that was the rattling noise you heard

So Admin and Pearls have built a community for "like minded " people. - personally for which I am very grateful and thankful to be apart of .

It's a safe place to have fun and connect with people , a place where everything and anything to be discussed .

So my question is what kind of member are you? Do you support the site and it activities

Or if you are approached and folk try to send you to another site like what happened at social - what do you do ?

If you see others on social media belittling members and the site - what do you do ?

Do you think it acceptable ?

Do you this there should be certain behaviours that are inexcusable ?

If so should should happen

I just can't wait to actually put faces, bodies and smells to the members at the next event

I'm happy to pay a subscription. Not because I feel I'm actually paying for something but because I think what the site owners do here is unique and has come about through love, dedication, determination and bloody hard work.
And for that, I want to show my appreciation and support.
And short of them accepting my offer of sexual favours then a little bit of cash is the best way I believe I can do that.

I also use my twitter account to retweet any tweets sent out by SS and add a bit of encouragement to any prospective newcomers.

If anyone tried to "poach" me to go to another site I would explain to them that I've tried other sites and this one is different and suits me.

The question you bring up about any member being "belittled" is a tough one. Some of us are more sensitive and easily upset than others. But any obvious bullying should, in my opinion, lead to the bully apologising at least and being barred if that's deemed necessary.

As for belittling well yes we all have certain levels of what's pc. And what's not

Bullying even cyber bullying is damagiing to the site and individuals involved

In my opinion it's in everyone interest to be a proactive invested member of community and at very least to quietly pass on any concerns to Admin or Pearls

I have always made a donation each month since joining, I may have missed one or two but not more than that I don’t think. I always feel as though my small donation is not nearly enough, but it’s what I can afford and is a little higher in fact than the current monthly subscription fee.
I believe in freedom of speech and constructive criticism but there is a fine line between that and bullying behaviour.
I have experienced some pretty nasty behaviour from a couple on this site a while ago and have to say it was dealt with promptly by Admin. Because of that I took a step back from the site for a short while.
We were on a different site to this before joining SS and had an absolutely aweful time. I was subject to some vile and downright nasty comments about my media, my image, me! I went on to posting full face pictures on here of me and got such a positive response I was overwhelmed.
Why would anyone suggest moving to another site?
You have everything you could possibly want from a swinging site right here for less of a monthly fee than most I have come across.
Why would you try to ‘poach’ members when you are all attending a social get together from SS?
May I suggest to the person/s concerned that they leave the site as it’s them that are clearly not happy, it’s them that’s got the issue with SS for some idiotic reason.
The site is brilliant, it’s fantastic, it’s what YOU make it. That’s right, the site is only as good as the people that participate in making it the wonderful place that it is. xx

We have been on other swinging sites before finding this one and they became so awful that we took a year out from it as i was getting unwanted attention and i didn't like how the sites were run. On one particular site i was told by a member there that i wasn't allowed to speak to new people unless the longer standing members had spoken to them. I stumbled across this one by google search back in May last year and decided this was the last place to try. I have to say the amount of welcomes we got on joining was so overwhelming and it felt different and i found the forums that night and found everyone to be warm and welcoming also i got roped into the quiz which i enjoyed. Neil wasn't active then on here but it didn't take him long as he saw i was enjoying it. This site is the best site we have been on and it is all down to the owners and staff that make it what it is and we are grateful for that. We pay the monthly subscription without hesitation as it does help with site costs and we know we are safe here.

If anyone tried to tell us to go to another site we would say no thanks and if you are not happy here then move on and what we have experienced so far has been brilliant and if you do experience any issues there is always help at hand and is dealt with quickly.

Yes and there is still members posting negativity, we've been on here when members were only in the hundreds, and now it's into thousands, so when we go to clubs we try and promote SS for us all. N&J xx

We can all say things that are not as positive as they could be .... there's huge difference

You guys have always stood out to me apart from lifers lol or long standing members but also for your fabulous attitude to everything on site and you positive give it a go / come join us approach to people

I try very hard not to court controversy.. in fact I'll normally run a mile if confronted. But yes, negativity, why? What's the point? But you see it.
People who expect others to fall at there feet, without putting any effort in. Think again.
If you think there is somewhere better to be to promote your life style .. then so be it.. but don't try to drag others with you.
This is a safe environment..for all. I may not be the most "engaging" member, I don't stomp around the site, but it's part of my life, been a huge support during dark and hard times. Love you all... life is for living and discovering.. I am.xx

Everyone will engage in the site at different levels and in different ways ... there is no right or wrong in that respect
What works for one may not work for another

But I can say I have been lucky to find some friends that have been very supportive n continue to be whilst also finding some finding my in sine seriously sexy scenarios

Ironically those that are damaging and poaching are still using the site to suit their needs which I find hypocritical as they try to poach and lure others elsewhere ,

others then take to social media n are negative about the site but yet still reap the benefits - all wrong in my opinion

Starting out on here we intend to remain here for as long as @Lips_Pearls and @Admin and all others continue to run it.

In our opinion, if your that unhappy with the site, the way it’s run or the people on it then leave!
The door is over there! No one is forcing you to stay. Just don’t be staying in here slating our site or it’s members and definitely don’t be trying to steal our members.
It’s a very new site still, it is still growing.
If you are here because you just fancy a ‘bit on the side’ or a quick shag then do us all a favour and go to one of the other sites that clearly cater for that kind of behaviour.
We, the members, want this site to grow as it’s somewhere we like to be and be part of. If you don’t like it, or it’s not for you, things not happening as quickly as you want then be adult about it and find somewhere better suited for your needs.
