Once again you have contributed to me derailing a thread, and once again i will get the blame.
Answer, yes I have a memory loft, its full of past lives and occasionally I go up into it and reminisce... it has love letters and old LPs, books I have no shelf space for, gig tickets, a few riding crops (and some rather fetching jodhpurs), a whole pile of stuff that people have given me from the four corners.... I don't like it, it reminds me I am ageing and that I can't go backwards, only ever forwards. It is a melancholy space of what I once was, now, now I am just this, just me... hidden away in deepest darkest Devon.... erm..... ANYWAY GERKINS!!!!!!

I have one from childhood - an old Edwardian sewing box that I filled with toot.

My dad gave me his memory box for me contained a hand written note about our relationship. His hopes and dreams for me and his thoughts on the man I have become his favourite picture of us and jewellery that I remember as a kid. But I don't have a memory box myself.
