Yes it's odd how many people sit on Ivory Towers in swinging, yet lose morals so easily.
Not just with sex, but their behaviour. Some people within this lifestyle can be so utterly vindictive, nasty and unethical - it's hard to imagine. But it's a fact and it exists.

It's simple really. Always respect other people, always respect their opinion whether you agree or not. Always respect their privacy. Never out people. Never criticise others for their tastes and preferences. Don't criticise someone for their sexual persuasion or orientation.
It amazes me sometimes tbh how it's often thought this lifestyle is one with non-judgement, yet some of the most judgemental people I have ever come across - are from within the swinging scene.
Ironic aye.
Treat others as you expect to be treated and you won't go far wrong.

I think that in the most part people do have morals but they can often get blurred when we set our sites on something we want. We become so obsessed with wanting to achieve our goal that we act in a way that maybe morally wrong to others but for you it seems justifiable because you have achieved what you want. I think it's OK to want things in life and to set goals to achieve them but we should be mindful of our moral code in doing this. I personally think humanity(not all of it mind you) has become to hedonistic and will act how they please, to obtain their goals to suit themselves. Life isn't just one big black and white transaction. People have feelings.

I'm not sure if you'd call them morals but I think to happily enjoy swinging and be enhanced by it you need to respect yourself, others, their relationships and your own; to communicate with people effectively especially your significant other; to take a step back when you need; and the big main thing Enjoy yourself, if your not ask why you aren't, it's meant to be fun.

My little old lady friend has a photocopied poster in her kitchen with the Buddha in the classic pose, and the words:

Buddha says, Try not to be a cunt

:)

As Ricky Gervais said "there are only two reasons you would call someone a cunt. If you really really like them, or, they are a cunt"

I'm from glasgow and we use cunt as a term of endearment to each other

My LOLF is from Aberdeen outside originally. My daughter doesn't like going round there much with me as my LOLF swears like a navvy with piles. Last time she replaced the word 'cunt' with 'fanny' but kept up a constant stream of 'fucks'.

She's great.

I have 2 girlfriends in Scotland, one from Glasgow now living in Ayr and one from Troon. they are the most down to earth, honest lovely girls you could ever wish to meet. Both hard as nails and soft as cotton wool. Have them as friends, be honest with them and you've got a true friend for life. Lie to them, let them down and you should fear for your life
They're a lovely pair of wee cunts. (y)

Always keep your morals its the only thing that keeps us above animals. Must say my morals have been tested big time on the swinging front but i stood firm every time as i knew it was the right thing to do

One thing I think I get irritated by more than anything, is not just people who lose their morals in swinging - but two faced bastards too. The ones who like to put the knife in when your back is turned and also twist it too.
There's a lot of that about in this lifestyle, make no mistakes about it. Way too many two faced people involved.

We see this at socials where you speak to people and they will say how they don't like so an so and then leave a glowing verification.. we try to leave honest verifications and if we didn't get on then we'll say x

Reading a couple of recents posts made me think of morals.
Do people know what a moral is unless they fell over one or googled it?

I'll be honest and say I'm certainly not a saint but I do have morals and I do try to stick to them but it doesn't always work that way.

So, be honest, do you believe morals are important or just something to use when it's convenient and how do they fit into swinging and do you actually, as they say, practice what you preach?
Unfortunately mouse... Morality is personal and not a global standard .
Once you accept that then you will have the answer you seek...

Good evening kitty.
That I understand, the question was, as an individual, do you stick to your principles/morals. The reason I asked originally was that I read a post, then saw a reply that I knew was, lets say, not quite the truth.
