Never forget that being found ‘not guilty’ doesn’t mean someone didn’t do it, merely that the prosecution couldn’t prove it to a jury, beyond that same reasonable doubt.

And, as case after case has shown, being found guilty doesn’t mean someone actually did it, merely that the prosecution convinced a jury that they did.

No justice system is perfect.

No system is perfect I would agree but don’t see any reason not to give the prosecution evidence that proves your innocence....

It will be interesting to see where all this ends up. Someone posted on social media somewhere that, being Vietnamese, these poor people were bound for either nail bars or weed factories, and that if you partook in either you were contributing to their demise. I have to say thats a little strong, getting your nails done doesnt mean you know where the staff come from, its not like you know that they are being exploited, having had their passports and other documents taken from them, and forced to work to pay off their "debt" to the people smugglers....however, its something worth thinking about when you go for your pedicure to your favourite salon which is cheaper than everyone else, and some young vietnamese lady is the one doing your nails.
