Pictures Do No Justice...

Now I understand what this thread is about but I am not going to meet someone and say blimey your not like your pictures... you look rougher than a bears bum ...

On the contrary it's the exact opposite; Their photos are great but in the flesh they look amazing. Would you say;
"You're really attractive, your photos do not do you justice at all"

If us, I think we would but I'd be cautious about how to say it in case said persons took offence which is easily done.
Most people are nothing really to their photos. You see personalities in RL which changes the whole thing...
We see the good in everyone and after all, beauty is skin deep no?

Tell them. Tactfully/humorously but tell them. I'd want someone to tell us so I'd do the same for someone else . Accompanied with suggests and help where I could of course

I think it depends on how you tell them. But yes, I would.

"You have some wonderful photos, but you are way more attractive in the flesh" - or something like that!

I think when someone's pics look decent but they are even better in person it's pretty easy to let then know this as it's in a complimentary way.
It's better to be pleasantly surprised than be disappointed if the pics flatter to deceive.
But as has already been said, you don't get the magnetism of a person through pictures.
Possibly a good way to address the original question in to pop "they look even better in person" into the verification. That way you're paying the person/people a compliment & essentially letting anyone else know that you didn't think the pics did them justice

I don't think many pics do justice to the person you meet in the flesh, I have met plenty from here and would never think its the same person, one in particular that I met at the VA naming no names but this person looked nothing like the pics and they don't do justice if I'm honest x

I'd keep shtum. I'm totally unattractive on photos and don't mind saying that I know I look better in the flesh but if someone where to say I look better I'm not sure how I'd take it. Probably just shrug it off and crack on....

You look lovely in your pics, I don't think the avatar does you justice actually when I see the new pics you've put up,

Camera and photos are not my friend in fact I would stretch as far as saying I hate with passion

As for telling folks their pic are not as good as they are in real life , if they brought up profiles yes probably

Although I do hate a filtered pic or those that make features look better ---it's not really the person is it
